About. Northern Irish soprano, Eimear Ní Choileáin, is a graduate of the Royal Academy of Music and English National Opera’s ‘The Knack’ and ‘The Works’ Programmes. She joined the Glyndebourne Festival Opera Company in 2009. Whilst at Glyndebourne roles included Jay - The Cunning Little Vixen, La Chouette* - L'enfant et le sortileges, Theresa* in The Yellow Sofa for Glyndebourne on Tour. Other roles include Santuzza* - Cavalleria Rusticate for Westgreen House Opera, Lady Billows - Albert Herring) for Royal Academy Opera, Lauretta (Gianni Schicchi for Opera Fringe Northern Ireland, Blackstairs Opera, Mrs. Peachum, -Threepenny Opera for Opera 2005 and Press - A Very Private Beach for ENO. She is an experienced concert and recitalist, recently giving a concert for the West Green House Opera Young Artist Covers Programme. the BBC Young Musicians’ Platform, Belfast Festival, and has toured Japan twice as a guest artist for EU-Japan Fest. Her work for Glyndebourne Festival Opera includes Die Meistersinger von Nürnberg, La Boheme, L'enfant et les sortilèges, Le Nozze di Figaro, Don Pasquale, Falstaff, Rusalka, L’elisir d’amore and Macbeth. *Cover Roles |
